Summary: This house is outstanding! We have 5 guys for a Dove Hunt and each had our own room and bed! The Kitchen, Dining Room and Living Room are plenty large and love the big front porch! It was wonderful sitting on the porch and watching the world go round in Spur! This was the best hospitality we have ever received from a VRBO owner, they left us chips and salsa along with beer and drinks in the fridge! I HIGHLY recommend this property to anyone looking to hunt in Spur!

Summary: We stayed here to be near the location of our daughter's wedding. This was the only available vrbo in the area for our large group; there were 9 of us. It was clean and very comfortable. The kitchen was not as well stocked as other rentals we've used. The only spices on site were salt and pepper, and there were casserole dishes but no cookie/baking sheets. However, the dishes and pans that were on site were very nice. I feel like communication regarding check in could be improved. There's no instructions for guests on how to access the property like we're accustomed to. Other rentals we've used had a code to get in the door or to get the key out of a lock box. It gives travelers peace of mind to know ahead of time how you'll get in the house. At this location, someone ended up bringing us a key. Overall, we would stay at this historic location again if we needed to be in the area. Sitting on the large front porch was wonderful, and we would recommend thia rental to friends. :-)
